The Report
A home inspection report provides the information you require to proceed with confidence. The report is an unbiased evaluation of a home and reflects our opinions as a neutral third party and are always in compliance with interNACHI standards of practice. The report reflects the visible condition of the home at the time of the inspection.
Our reports identifies the home deficiencies description of the condition (usually accompanied with a photo), explains the severity of the condition and recommendations on what needs to be done to resolve any issues we find. The inspector is not required to speculate about the cause of an issue unless they are sure about it, although the report may include potential causes of an issue.
The report gives you practical information like the location of the main water shutoff, the expected lifespan of the roof, and type and depth of attic insulation. With this knowledge, you can prevent or plan for the usual upkeep issues that come with home ownership.
We almost always provide home inspection reports within 24 hours of the inspection in a detailed, easy to read PDF that will give you a full report on the condition of the property.
All of this will be detailed in our easy-to-read Spectora report, which will be delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. From that report, you will be able to see the items we discussed, with images for reference. Our clear, plain-language reports that provide the key information specific to your home. Not a bunch of generic information. We feel this is important because what good is an inspection report if you can’t understand what it says?
If you have any question your home inspector will be glad to discuss any section of the report, so you can understand the true problems without any false alarms or unnecessary concerns.
